2-5-7-10 BOX

This little cute box
is a challenge from Jenn Balcer
on SplitcoastStampers.com    And this is
my remake.  The card stock measures 8 1/2 x 11
scored on the long side at 2, 5, 7, and 10, turn to the short side and
score at  2, 7.  Cut off 3 of the 2 inch sections and leave the one next to
the glue tab, this is the flap,  cut the small ends off the glue tab and miter the ends of the
glue tab,  put sticky strip on the glue tab next to the score line, Scallop the flap or add
a decretive piece to the flap .  Glue the bottom with sticky strip.
Punch two holes on  the flap with a 1/8 punch,  fold over onto the box and mark
with a pen the 2 holes and punch again on the box.  Add your goodies and a ribbon,
and decorate the front.  The measurements to the layered piece is 2 3/4 square.

The Pencil Slider //

This cute little box is so easy to
make, takes about 5 minutes, you could pop
out a lot of these in no time. You need 2 - 12 x 12
sheets of card stock,  If you cut the measurements
down you could use 1 sheet 12x 12 card stock, but I wanted two
colors.  The cover is cut at 7 1/2 x 9  inches long, scored in the
 landscape mode at 1", 4",5", and 8"
The Insert is cut at 4 7/8 x 12 and is scored in the landscape mode at
1", 2", 9 1/2", and 10 1/2",  turn to portrait mode and score at 1"' and 3 7/8"
I have made this out of a old pencil box that i have torn apart and made a template
out of, something old has made something new and cute.  Thanks for stopping by
and have a great day.
